C. Having trouble using VistaStudio™?
→ Plugin in the USB cable again, that makes EVB system off/on (For windows platform, you must click ‘USB off/on’ buttons after reconnect the USB cable). → Check if USB device 'RAONTECH RDK' is detected on your host PC system (Refer to Appendix III : RAON USB detection check %). → Check whether the jumper-caps are correctly placed over (Refer to the Appendix I : RDK Hardware voltage & jumper-cap check). → Try changing USB cable and reboot your PC. → (If you are using USB hub) Try to remove USB hub and connect USB cable directly. → Check System power 5v (Refer to the Appendix I : RDK Hardware voltage & jumper-cap check). → Plugin in USB cable again, that makes RDK system off/on (For win OS, you must click ‘USB off/on’ buttons after reconnect the USB cable). → Make sure the target panel is selected in the toolbar of VS. → Check the configuration of the current RDK in VS. If something is wrong, try configure setting again. → Try to switch panel-interface to ‘backdoor‘ on tool bar of VS. → Make sure that the jumper caps are correctly placed over (Refer to Appendix I : RDK Hardware voltage & jumper-cap check) → Check I2C pull-up 1.8v (Refer to the Appendix I : RDK Hardware voltage & jumper-cap check). → Plugin in USB cable again, that makes RDK system off/on (For win OS, you must click ‘USB off/on’ buttons after reconnecting the USB cable). → In your host computer, if another RAON SW is running, shut it down or try to reboot your system. → Check the configuration of the current RDK in VS. if something is wrong, try configure setting again (http://developer.raon-tech.com/index.php/vistastudio/). → Make sure that the jumper caps are correctly placed over (Refer to Appendix I : RDK Hardware voltage & jumper-cap check). → Check I2C pull-up 1.8v (Refer to the Appendix I : RDK Hardware voltage & jumper-cap check).C.1 If 'USB Disconnected' is on the status bar of VS: (Unable to connect to USB)

Appendix I : RDK Hardware voltage & jumper-cap check
→ All jumper-caps are must be properly configured prior to use. → For normal operation, the following voltages must be applied.
Appendix II : RDK RX and TX configuration check
RX case 1 : LVDS mode (delivery default) → If 'dif path' value from RDC200 Configuration Check is 'LVDS', a HDMI cable must be connected to HDMI port of RDK. → Also 'panel_attached' value from RDC200 Configuration Check should be matched to the actual panel connection. RX case 2 : MIPI mode → If 'dif path' value from RDC200 Configuration Check is 'MIPI', a USB C cable must be connected to USB port of RDK. → Also 'panel_attached' value from RDC200 Configuration Check should be matched to the actual panel connection. * RX Debugging → You can get a lot of information about RX with UART(TTL/CMOS) → If you are ready, connect it to RDK (Refer to Appendix I picture above). → In VistaStudio, Open RDK Control (On the menu of VS, Click Window-> Show Window -> EVB control). → Now, enable Serial communication on serial tab of VS (Click Refresh and chose your serial device -> Check Baud Rate 115200 -> Start button ). → Next, push Configuration button on USB tab of VS. → Go back to the serial tab of VS and take a look at the obtained information. * You can re-initialize RX bridge with 'Initialize' button.

→ First, make sure the target RDC type, RDP type and Panel-Interface are set correctly. → Click 'Refresh icon' and then check if the error message occurs on the status bar of VS. → If the error message occurs, you can try to check RDC or RDP side separately. ( Thought that may varies from product to product, 'Pixel Shift' and ' 'LED Current' are usually controlled on the panel side and the other features are controlled on the controller side. )
